    Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is at present inviting candidates that are eligible to apply through online for 990 posts of Scientific Assistant in India Meteorological Department (IMD), Group ‘B’ Non-Gazetted.After ensuring that they meet the relevant eligibility requirements, interested and qualified candidates may submit an online application by 18-10-2022.Candidates should submit all pertinent personal and academic data.Candidates should have an active personal email address and mobile number when filling out the form in order to register their application.

    Mode of Recruitment
    There will be a 200-marks computer-based examination.The question paper will consist of 200 questions.The exam will last for two hours.There will be a 0.25-point deduction for each incorrect answer on the exam.
    Details of Fees
    Women candidates and candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwBD/ Ex-servicemen (ESM) are exempted from payment of fee.Other candidates need to pay Rs 100/- as application fees through online mode by using BHIM UPI, Net Banking or by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit cards.
    Procedure to Apply
