    Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has invited application for Open Competitive Computer Based Examination for recruitment to the posts of Stenographer Grade "C" (Group “B‟, Non-Gazetted) and Stenographer Grade 'D' for various Ministries/Departments/Organizations in the Government of India.Eligible Interested Candidates may submit application only through provided online facility latest by 05-09-2022.While filling form, Candidates should make sure that they meet the relevant eligibility criteria.Candidates should fill all personal and educational details properly in online.Only those candidates who have skills in stenography are eligible to apply.

    Mode of Recruitment
    Selection process will consist of Written Examination and skill test.The written examination will consist of one objective type paper as General Intelligence & Reasoning (50 questions), General Awareness ( 50 questions) and English Language and Comprehension (100questions).There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.candidates who obtain the qualifying marks in the Written Examination as may be prescribed by the Commission will only be called for the Skill Test.
    Details of Fees
    Women candidates and candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD/Ex-servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee.Application fees of Rs 100/- is to be paid online by use of debit card/ credit card/ net banking.
    Procedure to Apply
    Eligible candidates should fill application only through online mode with in due date of 05-09-2022.Personal and educational information should complete an online application where applicable.A scan of passport size photograph and signature should upload in the online application.The printout of the completed online application should be kept for use in future.
